‘Suite Bretonne’ was composed and recorded in late 1998 as a piece in three parts for acoustic, classical and 12 strings guitars. After a few months the piece evolved to “Springsong”, containing more instrumental parts and musical lines.
The suite was originally conceived as a musical painting inspired by the beautiful country of Brittany (France).
The ‘Seasonscycle suite’ project started out from these early recordings.
